About the product

Jamun (Indian Blackberry) is a nutrient-rich fruit known for its deep purple colour, natural antioxidants, and low glycemic index. Our Jamun Pulp is made from fresh, deseeded Jamuns with no added sugar, preservatives, or processing chemicals, retaining the fruit’s raw nutrition and authentic tangy-sweet flavour. Its low glycemic index, high fibre content, and ability to improve insulin sensitivity make it an ideal fruit-based ingredient for diabetic-friendly beverages, desserts, and smoothies.

Usage & Storage Guidelines

  • Storage Temperature: –18°C or below.

  • Thawing: Transfer only required quantity to the refrigerator for 3–4 hours. Do not thaw at room temperature or under running water.

  • Shelf Life After Thawing: 24–48 hours.

  • Do Not Refreeze once thawed to maintain quality.

Refreshing Jamun Shot with Mint & Black Salt (Indian)

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Jamun pulp

  • 1/2 glass chilled water or soda (Depends on favored consistency)

  • 1 tsp honey or sugar (optional)

  • Pinch of black salt (kala namak)

  • Pinch of roasted cumin powder

  • 2–3 mint leaves

Method:

  1. In a glass or blender, mix Jamun pulp, chilled water, black salt, cumin powder, and honey if needed.

  2. Stir or blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into shot glasses, and garnish with mint.

  4. Serve immediately — best enjoyed chilled in summer.
